I would like to thank Motorhead-47 for all his help relating to this installation. As he replied above, we must have had a bad belt. The new 101.5" Green Belt registered tighter as indicated on the belt tensioner. Another problem was with the horns. After remounting on the new bracket, the sound was changed dramatically. Motorhead-47 experience the same on his installations which is caused by a more rigid bracket supplied by Edelbrock. His fix of using the old along with the new corrected this problem. You can also use o-rings between the horn and bracket to allow the horn to vibrate and operate properly. During this last week, we were able to make contact with Rob Simons, Edelbrock VP of Research and Development. He was also very helpful in answering our questions. They are redesigning the horn bracket. I am very fortunate in having Kiwi Riordan with Hendrick Performance doing the install. He has been with Rick for over 25 years working on his toys. Kiwi is also lowering the car to give it the right rank. He is the best that you can get and a great friend. Hope to pick up the car in Charlotte in the next 2 weeks. I am going to tie a rope from my right foot to by neck to keep from getting a certificate from the good old boys cruising the highways. Cannot wait to see the difference in performance.

My personal target would be Z06 power levels, or around 450 at the wheels. I'm guessing the E-Force is going to be 500+ at the wheels?
The base E-Force has 554 bhp. Figuring 12% loss for a manual that would 488 at the rear wheels and figuring 15% loss for an auto, that would be 471 at the rear wheels. With the base 554 HP blower, you are running a lower boost and you don't have to mess with the fuel pump. The only difference between the 554 Hp and the 599 HP E-Forces is the 599 Hp has a smaller pulley(to increase boost) but it also has the Z06 fuel pump, that increases the labor expense to install. You can always go with a smaller pulley later if you want to bump the Hp, and increase the fuel supply. As far as the E-Force goes, there are no differences in the blower itself between the two versions, other then the size of the pulley, that is easy to change.

The Z06's are running about 445 horsepower to the rear wheels but they will have around 150-200 pounds less weight to haul around.

Oh, and you control the amount of horsepower that reaches the rear wheels either on the street or on a race track, by how far you depress the accelerator. That is true for both a N/A or FI application.

Look at the ZR1 numbers. Generally making around 510 HP at the rear wheel.
Driveline loss is the friction loss in the driveline which is the transmission and differential. The BHP of the engine includes all accesories, such as the supercharger, alternator, waterpump, exhaust.

Thanks for letting me be a part of the solution Tom. Not to mention it is pretty cool to be mentioned in the same thread with someone from Hendrick!
