2008 Console Help

Hi,

After reading several threads, I understand that I can replace my 2007 Z06 ugly gray console with a 2008 console but the 2008 comes in different options.

I'd like to get the black carbon fiber (not gray) with chrome trim. I have heated seats but do not have the f55 ride control option. I believe the stock black console also has a gloss finish.

My local dealer can't seem to identify the right one. He got me a matt finish, gray with no trim.

Does anyone have the GM part # for what I'm looking for OR help me better verbalize the above.

There are a couple of GM vendors here that will likely chime in, you will get a better deal using them/

You probably could have done better with Gene @GM Parts House or Kevin @Parts Taxi, but the info is...Heated Seats with no F55 = P/N #25972649.

I thought I saw a post in this past week with a non-GM vendor selling some 2010 radio bezels(console) very cheap like less than $300. I have a 2008 and the 2010 is a much better looking piece IMO. Plus someone is selling a 2008 see below

Thanks for the info. Called gmpartshouse and they said the black carbon does not come with white stitching (only gray comes with white stitch) but pics on other sites seems to show it. Any thoughts? Are my eyes as bad as I think?

Whatever you do, DO NOT spend the extra money for heated seat buttons in your new bezel. Your existing buttons are exactly the same and are easily transferred to the new bezel.

Is the 2010 the same install / fit as the 2007? I was looking at a 2008 console originally but I think I'm going with the 2010 as long as the fit is the same in my 07

Try tko performance, being its an 07 you have any choice of color/pattern you want. in other words, you don't have to worry about matching existing trim pieces. They have them for $245.

Correct. But I think the op knows there is no leather on the console we posted. The op has a 2007 which has no leather.
The console picture I posted states its a 2007 which would have no leather. We just applied the finish and the rings. I only posted this as another (much cheaper) option.
