VIN Look-up?

Hey Guys. Well I just got done searching through the FAQ threads and the forums but didn't find what I was looking for. I'm talking to a dealer(non-GM) about a 05 and I was curious is there some where online I could enter the car's VIN to check its records with GM? Online would be easier, but perhaps a dealer could do it for me? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Usually requires a dealer to use the GM VIS. Several forum vendors will do it for you. You can't do it yourself. Post the VIN.

I don't mean to be a nag, but if somebody could check the VIN that'd be great. I got an insurance quote that im happy with and would like to move forward on the deal... but I'd just like to know what kind of work its had done and what recalls have been taken care of first. Appreciate the help guys!

Just take the VIN to any GM dealer and they can run the GMVIS report for you.
