Darn Gerardo

I also found/used redc6's instructions. Thank you to him.

If I had to do the install again right now it would go a lot quicker. The auto shifter was tough getting off at first until I figured out how to do it. I just noticed that my boot's key ways was not aligned right to start with so as I turned the boot ring it didn't disengage the shifter. I managed to disengage it myself and it was simple then. I still have a gap between the shifter/boot now so I'll have to fix that. Darn acid reflux started to drive me nuts.
Gluing the Auto Trans selector on to the new boot and installing it was pretty easy.
Ebrake handle took some force to get off and put back on but it is all good now.
Center console was relatively easy for me since I have installed 3 (different C6s) before.
Next plans are the radio bezel and rear console. Red stitching but I was think of going with alcantara. Then the instrument cluster/steering wheel/seats in the same style eventually. Way down the road I was looking at the DSV doors, tunnel drapes and finally the main dashboard.
My 08 was a 4LT and I wish I did the upgrade I did today on that car. It really makes the interior look better.
I already replaced the center console and side armrests before today.
