I have a C5, but I am curious what material/process they are using to manufacture the interior door panels on the C6. I know the C5s use a vinyl/glue system and that is why they are all delaminating in the heat over time with all the concave surfaces, but it looks like the C6 is more like a textured rubberized material or something rather than just vinyl glued on to a sub-structure - more like it is either sprayed on or created in a mold somehow?
Are my assumptions wrong?
Wonder what would be involved in making some C5 door/dash panels to match the C6 process which looks more durable to me?

Probably the easiest way would be to jack up the license plate and install a C6 underneath. Gets you lots of other upgrades, too.
