I was just thinking of changing mine out. How about the speaker up on the dash in the middle? Are these quality speakers?

They fit right in and there are no modifications.
Here is a link to feedback on a customer who installed them.

Here is a quote from a previous customer:
"They will not be any louder but you will notice a big difference in sound. The tweeters bring more crisper highs then the Bose ever did and the rear speakers sound much better as a fill in now. Even with a stock unit you will notice a big difference! "

For the best quality sound you are better off disconnecting it.

Are these quality speakers?

This package is set up for a simple entry level upgrade to improve the sound quality, and they are a great quality product.

This looks like a good solution. I'm not an audiophile but I'm not happy with the stock Bose system either....and, I think I have 1 blown speaker too.
Can that center speaker just be disconnected without damaging the amplifier?

Yes you can disconnect and not do any harm to the stock system

The Kicker upgrade will give you a cleaner sound. The stock speakers to best describe it, sound muffled. The Kicker speaker upgrade will not increase the volume of the sound but will increase the sound quality and end result will be a much cleaner sound.

There is more upgrade options for everyone but not as simple as plug and play replacements like this.

The other options would require adding aftermarket amps along with new speakers. An entirely different ballgame! We can help with that as well as design a setup around budget you would like to spend or sound quality your looking for as well.

Overall for less than $100.00 this Kicker upgrade will be a noticeable difference in sound quality.

You guys can call us as well with any questions you might have too

Sounds good; I don't want to get into amps and all that. The stock system is adequate and volume is fine, sound quality not so much with the stock speakers. I'll try these and I'll be in touch.

Would the KS series be better than the DS series if staying with the stock NAV head unit?

To me the KS is more in cost for no difference in sound quality.

So mainly you would be paying more for same thing.

The DS series are the better option between the two and is why we decided to package these for eveyone!
