Does anybody think this could be a realistic mod to do? Love the look of the Camaro and the lighting of its door panels for ambient lighting? I'd like some input as I am getting ready to do some lighting mods over winter.
There is a hole in the bottom of each door with a rubber plug. If you grind off the 2 mounting ears of this light, it pops right into this recessed rubber plug. Wire it up with some speaker wire since there is barely any amp draw. Run the wire along the rubber weatherstrip and tap into the footwell light bulb wiring.

looks useful, especially if you drive in the rain. Anybody else think the interior lighting could relatively easily done
I think it would take some modding of the door panel in order to make room for a led strip. Maybe hide something in the speaker housing and connect a toggle switch to turn them on or off manually.
I has component speakers installed that had blue led lights for resistors. When the music was loud enough they glowed blue. I liked it.

do you have a picture of the blue glow in the speakers, sounds awesome!
I do not think a led stripe along the seem in the door panel would look good.
There is the non-lighted reflector at the rear lower door that could be modified.
I do like the idea of lighting behind the speaker grille.
Then I think a balance of light some where on the front dash...in AC vents maybe or defroster grille..or foot wells.
It is your car and customizing can be fun.
Do match the ambient light in the mirror to your lighting additions.
