Sorry about the ding but why would a warranty cover self-inflicted damage?

Yeah. It's an AM warranty I bought for any road dmg to wheels and tires. Dealership sold at time of purchase.

Well this thread is useless without pics. If it's a painted rim, grab some touch up, apply and go about your merry way driving. Nobody will notice it but you. It's bound to happen again. After a week or two it wont hurt so bad.

Been there, done that.

Not familiar with that warranty.

Good luck with the repairs, tho.

I have two rules I follow with the Corvette. Well maybe a few more than that but the first one is I do not drive the Corvette after having an adult beverage or two ever. Second is the passenger gets out before I park and helps make sure I don't get to close to the curb front or sides. If I don't have a passenger I avoid tight spots or get out and check myself as I park. That said, stuff happens, can't change yesterday can only try to do better tomorrow.

Default A giant plus for painted wheels.

My 08 OEM painted wheels touch up perfectly with Subaru Sparkle Silver touch up bought at local auto parts store.
