They put you on a wet skidpad and have you driving out of control, under their supervision

As far as the cost of clear automotive protection (dropping the "bra" to be politically correct), $1k can be the going rate, depending on where you live and the material used (like Venture Shield). Thats what I have on my car and the price quoted was about the same.

Before you go with VS, there's a newer product you may want to look into. I believe there is a lifetime warranty offered by Avery on their Nanofusion film.

Check this out... This is no trick or doctored video.

They also had this new technology demo'd at SEMA. It's definitely worth one last look / comparison.

Good luck Mike

That sounds about right for a clear bra, one thing to consider is if it is prefabricated or custom cut to the car, especially when dealing with a Callaway hood bulge if you want it to run up that high. A good installer will custom fit the bra versus just applying a prefabricated piece.

Also can you repost the video? The link seems to be a tad finicky.

Thanks!

Sorry about that. Here are the latest for Avery and Xpel. Again, I have VS but if Avery really offers a lifetime warrantee and the price is competitive

My VS gets scratches

The price of the car is 74185.76 Fully Loaded GS Convertible 4LT
The price of the Callaway with options below cost 24,485.00 with shipping.

Congrats! You will have a monster.

Yes to the clearbra. It will save your paint if you drive it much.

The Callaway's are nice Vette's and have better resale value....BUT, your paying for that value on front end....

FWIW, IMO, I would have gone with a ZR1 for that SAME money.....just a thought.....

ZR1 rules the C6 roost....

I find these posts to be a bit odd since he's ordering a convertible with an auto trans. Kind of at odds with everything the ZR1 has to offer
