Hi, Merry Christmas to all menbers. Just receive a gift from Santa , FUEL DOOR & HATCH RELEASE SWITCH . Have anyone install one of this, I check on FAQ and do not find how to do it. Any help will be appreciated. Have a nice day. It is the two switch that sits in the left hand driver side ,It is how to replace the stock one for a new Carbon Fiber.

Not sure what this part is. Are you talking about the switch group that sits in the knee bolster on the left hand driver side?

I didn't know it before but it must not be included on a '05 1LT/BASE car.

The 2005 "base car" (1SX) definitely included switches for the fuel door and hatch release. Are you saying that your car doesn't have them? If so, how do you open the fuel door and the hatch?

I remember the first time I pulled into a gas station to fill up my car after I bought it. I was lookin' so cool man. I could just feel of all the eyes in the gas station on me as I pulled in to get gas. And it was the first time I had ever refueled. So, I pulled up to the pump, reached down to open the fuel door, but then I hit the wrong switch and the BACK HATCH POPPED OPEN!! OH GEEZ!! WHAT A MORON!! So, I casually opened the fuel cover, put the gas hose in the car, and then went around the back of the car, opened the hatch and pretended to be looking in my back end for something before I closed the hatch lid back down. Quick recovery, man........
