Dead Battery
It's been wet here in Austin and the vette has set for several weeks and yes the battery is low enough to run the accesories but won't start! This vette eating batteries thing is a real pain. I see the CTEK 3300 recommended here. Usually I drive it enough to keep it charged. Can the CTEK unit be used with the lighter adapter without actually installing the unit in the car by plugging it into the lighter or do you also have to connect it to the battery? I plan to jump it to get it out of the garage and drive it awhile to charge it this time It's a 2 year old battery that I replaced when it went dead shortly after I bought it. 06 coupe. I love the thread about fishtailing. I discovered early on that the back end would come around with even moderate acceleration pulling into traffic. It's a hoot!
Thanks, Dave
Just use the cig adapter to plug-in to either power outlet.
If you run the cord thru the notch in the door, make sure it slides easily with the door closed and doesn't crimp the cord.

Even though it's only 2 years old, you might need a new battery. I think you'll find out soon enough.
