Looking for a vette?
What do you guys recommend?
What do I have to look out for?
My last Vette was a C5 and it got burnt to a crisp...totaled.
I then purchased an 02 SLP Edition Camaro and in 07 this kid fell in love with the car and i sold it to him. "His Father is a Doctor" and he asked me to fill in the numbers on the check, so I did, and I sold him the car, it was his sons high school graduation present for getting good grades..lol
Now I have an 06 GTO that i purchased new with 10 miles on the OD, but now it has a ton of aftermarket stuff in it, 558RWHP 518RWTQ N/A. a lot of the aftermarket stuff is being replaced by the original parts that came off the car, I could sell that stuff later on.
Since I have been out of the vette seen for a while what should i look for?
and what should i stay away from?
I need to find out what the car has, can any knowledgeable Corvette enthusiast direct me to a link on how to decipher the Vin numbers...
I have done a search for an hour already and can't find Jack.
Regards,

I'm sure some one will help you with VIN.....look at the Vette your interested in. In the glovebox door are the codes of the options the car has installed.
Z06 is 1LZ, 2LZ and 3LZ....CAC website has option codes on their website. VIN does not really tell you about options the car has....only engine codes. W=LS3 I think and E-LS7....:welcome back.
