Build sheet location in car
Did a search, came up empty. Where are the original build sheets usually found in the car. As in where did they stick it at the end of the assembly line?
Thanks, David

Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think there's a build sheet in the C6.
You can definitely buy it from the NCM: https://store.corvettemuseum.com/ser...buildsheet.asp
BTW, there's a complete RPO list is on a plaque inside the glovebox. Decode info: http://www.digitalcorvettes.com/foru...ad.php?t=88957

when I did the factory builders tour they gave me my build sheets from each station and the master one also....you can get them from the museum

I am going to order one of each from the museum when my membership goes through. You'll save a few bucks being a member. You have to order them through the email on their website. You'll never get the woman to answer the phone to take your order for a build sheet order a window sticker.

Another valid reason to participate in the Buyers Tour if you are having a Corvette built to your specifications.
I have the original composite build sheet of my GS straight off of the assembly floor as it was being built as well as a whole stack of individual work station build sheets.
When it was all said and done, I believe I ended up with every possible piece of build documentation that accompanied my GS as it progressed down the assembly line.

Go back to the dealer who sold you the car. They can get a duplicate from GM. Also by law they must provide you with the sticker when buying a new car.

Yes, all you have to do is go to the service dept (Chevy Dealer) . They can pull it up and print it - free of charge. It is not the sticker - but, it will be a list of everything that was on the car when it was built. Done it - been there.

Thanks for the info guys. My car was a Chevrolet display vehicle at the Texas State Fair and there wasn't a window sticker in it when it was transfered to a dealer after the fair. It wasn't an issue with them not delivering one. I'll get one even if I have to buy one...

Actually, you can get a replacement window sticker. I had the dealer get me another window sticker for my 2002 Z06 because the original was ripped. Mine did have the paper backing on it so it could have been stuck back on the windshield. There is no charge for this either!
