On Supplier pricing, how much of the discount (~8%) does GM supplement the Dealer? Same for $1000 GM Loyalty Rebate? That is what is being offered on a new purchase
Nothing the price is above dealer cost that is the new pricing system even for GM employees except GM does give eva money to dealer thats employee vehicle assistance.They changed our discount structure. On the camaro my discount at time of order was around 3500 when car came in my discount was 300.00 needless to say i did not take del 300 of list thats nuts. For 2011 my discount on cts was 2000 for 2012 1000 oh got a big message telling me that i could now get additional 1000 off lets see you took 1000 away now under this new promo you are doing me a big deal and giving me a 1000 more off not. I don't know who they think we are but I'm not that stupid.

Thanks for the offer I know the program has changed since I used supplier pricing to buy my 08 vette. at the time there was quite a bit of discussion on holdbacks and how gm reimbursed the local dealer. I am just trying to get an idea on how much my dealer is getting from gm when he sells to me at supplier/preferred price + $1000 customer loyalty programs. I have not seen much discussion on the ‘new’ supplier/preferred programs.
