And what you are saying is that you can therefore justify a chauffeur to drive your limo and another to drive your 18 wheeler and another to drive your wife in her separate car and a personal assistant for each of you and a nanny for each of the kids and... because all of those things would make life easier also, wouldn't they. Yes, I'm saying that anything above the bare necessities to survive is a luxury. I'm not saying you shouldn't make life easier with luxuries. I like luxuries as well as the next person. I'm just saying you shouldn't borrow money for luxuries any more than you would borrow money for food so you could have a chauffeur to drive you. It's really that simple.
Sorry but your hyperbole is so far in right field its just ridiculous.
Having a car these days is a necessity, when you work an hours drive away from home and the store is a 10 minute drive away. Riding a bicycle is not even practical, and a car is a necessity, NOT a luxury. Even the poorest people still have old minivans and ford pintos.
Good thing we don't live under your dictatorship, everyone would be living in shacks, spending half their day scootering to/from work and sleeping on bags of coins, saving up for the day they can afford to get a car I just pictured uncle scrooge
Some people don't even know what happiness is like. They simple heard the word before and wish they knew what happiness is like.
It's just a word with many different meanings. It comes and goes daily and must be worked for because it's hard to keep.
When your money is all spent will you still be happy?
Happiness is always temporary my friends, I know several millionares. They strive to be happy! A couple of them wish they were like me(less fortunate). It's a long story..................God bless us all

Thats exactly why I said "happiness is when you like what you already have". The problem with money, especially "more money". Is that you never get really satisfied. A vette is nice, but a Ferrari would be nicer. A Ferrari is nice, but a Bugatti Veyron is nicer. A Veryon is nice, but having a 10 car stable full of the worlds most desired vehicles is nicer!!! Same goes for house, women, jewelry, vacations.. you name it!
Its an endless trap.. where you only temporarily enjoy what you have, until you quickly find the next best thing to wish, want or buy. A truly happy individual is content, thankful and more involved in taking care of that which he already owns.. than he is always worrying about whats next. And while I'll be the first to the admit that I wouldnt mind having a Z06 or the new C7 one day.. my 'cheap' little '07 C6 makes me smile so big everytime I look it at.. that I cant ever seriously think about trading it for something 'better'.
There might be cars that look better, have more power and are more flashy. But one drive or one look at my little '07 Coupe.. is all that need to get my heart beating fast! There is no doubt that is makes me a happy man!!
