Hi all. I have had these guards on my cars now for 6 years. They really provide an outstanding level of protection that is unmatched in the industry. Well today is the first time I have actually broke one. It was cold and there was snow on the ground but I have been there before. Who knows the reason why and I really don't care, they have done there job.
Now the only complaint I have is they are black. Did not really mind on the yellow car but on Crystal Red they seems a little out of place. So I am wondering what you think of this idea? Keep the inside, toward the wheel well black and paint the back side Crystal Red. Cover the inside with 3M stone guard or similar product to cut down on chips.

Yeah, tell the idea to APSIS, then two little plastic molded splash guards will cost $400 painted instead of the bargain of $197, which is completely

I kinda think putting some type of coating inside might start fraying and looking pretty tacky. I'd just keep them well oiled with zaino z16..i dont have the ones you have, i have gm's.. but they stay pretty slick inside with maint of coatings of the 16. I think painting them would look fine, i had the ones on my Solstice gxp painted on the outside and they molded right into the cars lines.

Check out this thread. RPI Designs offers painted versions of the "narrow body" splash guards. There are some pics on page 2 and 3 of that thread. It might give you an idea of what painted Apsis guards may look like.
