I have a crack on the left rear rocker right at the jacking point, seems like they did it on the last oil change, hence me making these pucks. Does anyone think this will spread up to the side of the car where it will be visible. as of now I just tried to clean up the frayed fibers and did a small touchup. Do you think I am just better off using a dremel and taking off the cracked piece and reshape it and paint or just leave it be

I think thats what I was kind of looking for. I will keep an eye on it and if it seems like it is elongating I will dremel it. Any other opinions?
Thanks again all. This forum is great.
Eye bolt is #4. Instead of getting the threaded bolt with nut that you might need to countersink into the puck, I used the lag wood screw style eye bolt and just ground off the short portion that pokes through the other side.

I myself cant see the crack but if you want to stop it from going further you can probably drill a small hole at the end of the crack and it should stop it there.
