My 09 C6 was in storage. Battery was getting low and went out and it barely started up. Started, for about 3 minutes sat in car and checked gages and all seems well, revved it a couple of times and got out to let it idle. In ten minutes got back in and throttle inop, engine in reduced power mode. Active Handline malfunction and traction control failure was running across the dash. Several restarts and still the same. Disconnected battery and reconnected in 30 minutes. No change.
Never driven in snow and only on a few occasions in rain.
Procharger and headers and cat free modifications. So warranty may not be usable at a dealership.
What can I look for and what are my options to repair system.

Check to see if the MAF is connected.

Do you have a code reader? Can you post the codes?
I've heard that starting your car and turning it off 3 times will turn off the reduced power msg/reset it. The reduced power mode uses other systems, like you see with active handling and TC, to reduce the power.. those should also go away.
Also, another quick and easy thing to check is your tire pressures. You said it was in storage, its possible your pressures are low now, and our cars will go into reduced power mode if they dont get the TPMS signal or if the pressure is too low.
My guess is you need to fully recharge or replace the battery. These cars want plenty of juice or they just don't work well. 3-4 minutes and letting the car idle will not bring the battery up to full power. Get the battery check first before doing anything else.

Yea I thought about that but I figured since the car was already running for 10 minutes, the battery probably wouldn't be the culprit. Could be wrong though, I'd rather it be air pressure than having to buy a new battery

I had something like this happen this past summer. Battery would not hold a charge, 4-5 days top. If I did not drive the car and attempted to start it with low power in the battery it would throw all kinds of codes. I would disconnect the battery and charge is, rein-stall and everything was fine. Finally just got a new battery, everything solved.
Now in my truck, same year I had a similar problem this winter. Tried to start the truck, almost but no cigar. And because of the low battery it screwed up the calibration to the 4x4 switch. Had to take it to the dealer for them to re-flash the system and reestablish communication.
Thank you to everyone who gave me ideas on resetting Corvette. Tried it all and many times over. No luck. Never had a car go bad in a warm stored garage. Now have to decide to try dealership or back to Livernois Motor Sports.

I had a similar problem with mine. Hadn't driven it for quite a while and took it out. In a few miles I stopped at a stop sign and similar errors and reduced power mode took over. Turned out to be the TCM. I had an extended warranty which covered it.

I've forwarded this post and your email to Andy, our shop supervisor first thing this morning.
Thank you for all the expert advice from Forum members
I appreciate all the help in fixing my 09 Coupe. It seems that forum members are more enlightened than Liberty Chevrolet in New Hudson, MI. They diagnosed problem as a PCM failure. Wanted to do a warranty repair but due to supercharger from Livernois Motor Sports they were unable to replace it. Car went to LMS and it was immediately diagnosed as a throttle pedal malfunction. Just like many forum members suggested it was. NOT a PCM failure.
Liberty Chevrolet technicians misdiagnosed or were just guessing.
I took my complaint to Chevrolet Bowling Green. They talked to dealership and decided not to confront them on their "parts til it starts" approach to repairs. Dealership repeatedly stated the PCM was defective. However it miraculously fixed itself so LMS could fix accelerator pedal first try. They would not reimburse me for costs for flatbed towing, Liberty Chevrolet's costs and the repairs correctly done by Livernois Motor Sports. The failure of the accelerator pedal had nothing to do with mods performed by LMS. Stay away from dealerships that are incapable of being trained or truthful
