Well at 68 and retired I wear jeans and a black Corvette racing T shirt that I catch hell from the wife for. Also have a leather jacket with the word corvette on the left side its very small. I have hats too but since I hate hats they are very seldom worn outside the garage.

I'm not in my 60's! i was wearing a black shirt that had the flags on the front and the c6 tail lights on the back, black jogging pants and piloti driving shoes. i was on my way to a car show.
i like to wear some vette clothing when i drive, hat, t shirt whatever but not to that extreme. just not my taste but i think its great that he takes that much pride in his car as i assume we all do.
So what should he be wearing, an "I Love my Valiant" jacket? I suspect many owners have something with Corvette on it. I have 5 or 6 baseball caps with Corvette or Z06 or Racing on them, a sweatshirt and a red and black cotton jacket I bought at the museum. I love hats and wear them to keep the sun out of my eyes. I'm 72 and kind of old school.
I saw a man in Costco with a Vette leather jacket and asked what kind of Vette he had. He said he didn't have a Vette and would trade for the leather bomber jacket I was wearing. I'm not defending anyone or condemning anyone but whatever floats your boat, so be it. If he was happy, God bless him.

Oh come on guys, no need to get offended, I thought it was hilarious but apparently many do not think so. It is all good fun.
ignore the jorts wearers with their knee high socks that match their corvettes. they're just now figuring out that the world is laughing AT them, not with them
Sounds to me he was taking pride in his car by wearing clothing as a testimonial to it. So what? I have 2 Vette baseball caps in the rear of my Vette; one is mine and the other is my grandsons. We put them on when we go to car shows. I only have 2 Vette shirts and rarely wear them and I'm 64. I have a Vette leather jacket that's over 20 yrs old and I've given it to my grandson now that he's big enough to wear it. I "wear" my car every time I drive it because I feel so much a part of it.
Good thing i'm only 59. Do they still make white velvet? I've got 10 more months before I have to get the suit and hat. I have to get one with a "cashmere" strip to be correct.
