Default Plan to purchase

Plan to purchase a preowned Grand Sport in the next 60-90 days. Concerned though as to why there are so many late model low mile choices there are. Is this a good choice?

Have you looked at used Ferraris?

Lots of reasons folks sell with low miles.

I think that there are a lot of low mile cars out there because most folks conserve the cars. Weekend drives, fair weather joy-riding , no winters in the northern states, avoidance of rainy weather. It all adds up, or should I say -- subtracts down.

Would you want to buy a high mileage GS? Some people don't put a lot of miles on their car. Find one and go for it.:salu te:

Depending on what price you are willing to pay there are some very good deals on NEW GS cars.

In February of 1997, I bought a '96 with 1800 miles on it for $26,500. The MSRP was $39,500. In April of 2004, I bought a Z06 with 1,084 miles on it for $41,500. The MSRP was $51,500. It is very common to find used Vettes with just a few thousand miles on them.

I think they're just trading them in on the more elegant 'narrow' bodied coupe. Or maybe it's because many owners use there Vette as the occasional cruiser.

A lot of people get these cars in the summer and then get tired of keeping them in the garage all winter. They move into something that they can drive all year.

Sometimes a buyer's eyes are bigger then his stomach and he bites off more then he can chew, especially in these turbulent Times.
