Does anyone have any regrets about buying Cyber Gray? I had a Victory Red corvette last and now have ordered a Cyber Gray corvette. If Victory Red was still available I would have ordered it but I don't like Torch Red. I really haven't seen a Cyber Gray corvette that's clean yet so I can't tell if I'm going to really like it or not. Does it stand out or is it yet another dull looking color on the roads? I am really hoping I'll like this color cause I won't be getting a new car in a really long time after this. Thanks!
Color choice is probably the most subjective choice you can make. It's totally a matter of opinion and preferences.
I recently bought a new 2012 Cyber Gray 1LT with Gray-painted wheels, for example. My preference (which is probably quite defferent from most others') is that I wanted to minimize the flash or "noticeability" by people who don't know anything about automobiles but think they do. I'm ashamed to admit that some of these folks are my acquaintences and even friends. The often have opinions and stereotypes that they are eager to share but I'm not eager to hear (e.g., the kind of people who drive Corvettes, why do you think you need 430 hp?...).
Also I personally think the CG with Gray wheels is a very understated but elegant look. I really like it and the only other color I might have considered is Black (which of course isn't available on 2012 1LTs).
My only concern about CG (and Black which I own) is when in traffic the color blends in with highway. The Corvette has a low profile to begin with coupled with a dark color can make it an interesting drive when folks don't see you.
I really stay on my toes here in ATL when near other cars and trucks on these 8-10 lane interstates around town.
Although gray wouldn't be my first choice, you put some shiny chrome wheels on that bad boy and and a few coats of wax and I guarantee it will turn some heads!! Go for it!!

This scares me. People have no clue how to drive around here and half the people don't even use blinkers. I was almost run off the road in my VR car I can only imagine what it'll be like with Cyber Gray. Well, I suppose it's too late to change my choice. I put the order in a few weeks ago and just got a build date of 3/14. I do think it'll be a classy color though.

Agree, that's sort of why I wanted to know what other VR people thought of it. I loved looking over the red hood and seeing the reflections as I drove down the highway at night. It was sort of addicting. I'm not sure I'll get the same feeling with CG. Totally understand your other comments. I do think it'll be elegant but don't want another black car. My CTS is black and a nightmare to keep clean and it shows every little scratch and rub mark. Keep in mind I take very good care of my cars, but you can't control the environment around them.
