Rear CV Boot
bought 09 c6 vert.Had only 1200 miles on it.Drove for very short time and began seeing grease on inside of passenger rear wheel.After researching this problem on this forum and others this almost seems to be a common problem with vettes.Took car back to dealer and They "SAID" that they replaced the boot.After driving a short time I began to notice grease on the inside of the rear passenger wheel !! Imagine that... Took to a different GM dealer and they told me that the boot had been attached with plastic clips..and this won't work.When boot gets hot and expands the grease comes out the ends...So,after ordering and waiting on metal clips I am taking the car in this morning to have it fixed..Anyone having these problems ???

I had a rear boot leaking grease on my car, inside joint and didn't notice until I swapped out the exhaust. Purchased a good CV clamp tool from the MAC tools website and tightened with that. Been fine ever since.
