You can only pull it during the current engine cycle. Once you shut off the engine, it's gone.

To get your highest "G" reading from when you last started the engine you can push and hold the PAGE button for 6 - 8 seconds and get your highest "G" reading. This way you don't have to watch the HUD while your pushing hard. Just check it before you turn off the engine.

you can't pull a g meter log, but during an engine cycle if you hold the page button for 8 seconds it will pull your highest G's for that engine cycle , and displayed on the HUD. Once you turn off the car it is gone.

The only thing I have to add to this is, "unless it's a 2005 Corvette."

The feature is called out in the 2005 manual but it is in fact broken in the code. On a HUD equipped 2005 you have a G meter and it can be viewed in track mode but can't be recalled. You can press the button from now until the cows come home you will never get your highest reading to display.

Also, the system stores the highest G since last engine start, regardless of what mode your HUD is in. But you can only recall and view the stored G by holding the Page button while in Track mode.

Thanks for sharing. I didn't enter the C6 world until the 06Z06 though.

Okay, that does it. I'm not trading my 09 Z06 for a 2005. A man has his limits, you know. I expect my cows to come home.
