Well as many of u know I graduated into my first Vette 2 days ago and am loving it
I have a questin on the cup holders. How do u guys use them? Mrs. Tarl wanted me to ask.
We use the car as our toy, taking country drives, canyon carving or road trips but the wife doesn't like having to hold her coffee cup now. The cup holder just will not accomodate 2 coffee cups at once securely. The bottoms of the cups kinda fit but the wider tops just do not allow the cups to sit in there together comfortably. U guys have any advice?
They make a single and dual version that 'mounts' on the passenger side of the tunnel. No fasteners or Velcro, it slips under the console edge and rests on the floor.
Well made, sturdy, stays put, available in different colors and several Forum Vendors sell them.

Either get the travel buddy setup or just get different coffee mugs/cups/whatever. I have no problems fitting my 24oz shaker bottles in my C6 (two of them).

Went on their site, will probably order one but the cashmere one pictured looks light grey, anyone have cashmere and if so, is it really cashmere? Thanks....
I myself only drink sodas in the Corvette. I seem to always have a cup in the cup holder. It doesnt seem to matter at which Fast Food place I get the soda, the cups always seem to fit well into the cup holders in the console. However, I easily can see the need for an Aftermarket additional Cup Holder...
I often have my trusty 20oz Diet Coke bottle in the cup holder. Problem is, it gets hot pretty quickly. I suppose the add-on holder would solve that....

You'll find that the cup holder will keep hot drinks hot and cold drinks hot as well.
I took the bottoms out of a couple of coozies. They fit perfect in the bottom of the cup holder and keeps things the temp they should be rather than hot. You'll lose about a 1/4" in depth though which hasn't been a problem for me yet.

Brilliant! Why didn't I think of that? I have dozens of those damn things cluttering up the house.
I bought one from a forum vendors about 4 years ago, that mounted in the same fashion as the other one mentioned. It flips out for use and back out of the way for full leg clearance when not needed. The spring loaded arms adjust for all cup sizes.
The name escapes me now, but the price was around $15 and was one of the best mods for the buck that I've ever done.

I wish I could take the credit but I'm sure I heard it from somebody on here in the past. I've had them in there for the past few years. I change them out about twice to 3 times per year.
A big part of our drives and the experience is drinking our coffee (Starbucks).
A high performance car, a beautiful lady, rock music and coffee bring the atmosphere to where it needs to be. First stop out the door is Starbucks then OFF we go!
