For my Vert, I used the Great Lake Trophy mount on the pass side. The XM antenna will not interfere with it. You can bend it a little to get it level, but it does shake a little. I think if you were handy you can bend up a piece of aluminum that will work instead of the $35.

I also highly recommend the Dashtronix V1 interface to get the alerts on your HUD and DIC. Expensive, but really super nice!

Something else to consider is the possibility/probability of smash-and-grab thievery. A high end detector goes for $300-$400. That's a prime target for punks and methheads. They get your RD, you get a busted window, insurance and repair hassles and a serious case of the pissed-offs.

Anyone had their car busted in for a RD or other gizmo?

Nearly invisible from outside, great response to hunters.

That is what I have and a forum member custom makes them and I am glad I got it

ditto, thats what i currently have in my c6, sorry no pic, but its not in the way, and from outside the car is very difficult to spot..

BlendMount and Power Cord with inline fuse are a great combination.

I'm certainly with you on this one, and why I try keeping stuff out of sight. What most dont understand, if a druggy's needing a fix, it's like starving for food to most of us. Will do almost anything to get it, and knocking out a car window to get something, maybe worth $10 bucks on the street, is one of them.

Great Lakes mount places my V1 under the OnStar box and a DashTronix interface to my HUD and DIC.

I like having my Redline out of sight. I did this thread a long time ago on my mount:
