You know the old saying, keep your friends close and the trouble makers closer , if you ever need anyone, I can put on the neutral hat and come over and drink the kool aid. Might be the best thing for everybody.
Our posting styles and histories being similar of "telling it like it is"when the situation called for it, sometimes to the point of some actually taking it as hostility, you should have about as much chance of becoming a moderator on this forum as I do.
Considering what I've seen on other sites over the last 10-12 years... this website is one of the more behaved ones. Mods have it pretty easy here... and from what I've seen, generally go completely unnoticed.
Compare that to a few other boards I've been on... who have mods with ****-like attitudes that drive members and business away like crazy.
Whatever you folks are doing here... don't change it. You are doing it right already.
My single only gripe about this site is the way vendors are allowed to spam every forum. It really waters-down the search results... as every time I search for a specific topic, I have to wade through dozens of sales ads.
Typically that behavior is a no-no and most sites restrict that to the classified section only.
Way to go, guys. John, I'll do some extra sucking up when I see you at the museum bash in April. Jim, you're not far from Bowling Green so if you attend the bash it'd be my pleasure to buy you a beer. Steve, flowers are on the way.
John, I'll see you at the Bash and we'll work out something then.

Will you be bringing "NO HEIRS" again this year? I saw your beautiful Arctic White ZR1 at the bash last year; it was one of the best looking cars at the event.
