I like it too! Details on product, how much and how hard to put on?
3M Dinoc, very user friendly. Need 2 people. One to hold and apply heat from a hair dryer, the other to manipulate the part and keep streaching. I also used the 3M primer that is sold for edges. All of the edges around the gauge cluster are cut not wrapped. We will see how it holds up once it gets warmer out....bought my supplies from vendors on E bay. 4 x4 sheet $80.00 plus $19 for the small can of primer.
This was the graphite carbon fiber color. The texture is amazing!
Nice install. I've been reading up on this stuff. I'm surprised we don't see more CF members going this route. I gotta get a sample and play with some... of course my console and bezel are out at TKO now getting the 3D Immersion carbon process right now so that horse it out of the stall. Interesting stuff the Dinoc.
I looked into the immersion route, I couldn't justify the expense. I did this all for less than a $100. We will see how it holds up. I am concerned about the heat in the car softening it up in the summer. It seems to reharden and keep its shape after it cools off. The adhesive is pretty good. With the primer around the edges I think it will hold up. It really looks good in the car.
Yeah, the immersion route isn't cheap... But I'm confident in the final result and the long term durability... That's pretty much why I went with TKO. nice guys also.
Thanks for posting this. I have been contemplating many different options to overhaul the console and other interior trim pieces, and after seeing this, I can stop searching. The appearance and depth of the Di-Noc is amazing, and for the money, nothing else comes close. I will be ordering some today for my car.
Do you plan to do any other areas? I was thinking of doing the gauge cluster bezel surround, the area around and behind the armrest on the transmission tunnel, the air vents, and window button areas. I need to see some pics though to determine if it will be overkill.

I see you used a 48x48 sheet. Do you think that a 36x48 sheet will be enough for the center console? A form member is selling a 36x48 sheet at a discount and I'm trying to decide if I should purchase it or not.
