Automatic Door Edge Protector!!!!!

This device would be soooo great on our C6's - or any car (I dinged/crushed a small spot on both my current C6 and past C5). Really amazing & nice feature - great engineering, and tucks away as the door closes ...

Nice feature for your own car but I still don't want little Johny banging his door into my Vette.

The way the kid opened the door, that thing shoulda had airbags. I parked at a McDonalds in my first Vette a few years back, while my son ran in for food. There's a car parked next to me on the drivers side, didn't think nothing of it, afterall, I'm sitting in my car. This guy comes out with two kids, and guess where they go...Dad hops in the drivers seat, older kid in the pasenger seat, and the littlest bastard flings the rear passenger door open right into my door. As they are getting comfy, that door is sliding up, down, side to side all over my door. I finally reach out the window, grab the door, and push it off, asking the dad if he can get his kid to shut the door, that he just hit my car with it. Dad gets out, comes over to my door, which has a nice white scuff on it (my Vette was black), and says "that'll wipe right off". He then starts violently rubbing on my door with his hand. I came unwound, and told him no so politely, to stop scratching my door even more. People just have no respect, I hoped he took that kid home and beat the ever lovin **** out of him.

Very creative --- Those are great & should be MANDATORY for the masses who don't obsessively care for their cars & don't care about other people's valuable property!
