Hood liner question please.
Guys need your help. Modding my 2008 C6 to underhood lamp. Need new liner with cutout for lamp. My Chevy dealer lists part no. 19214017 for about $300. That is a painted liner. So question: is there a liner available brand new, unpainted and if so what's the part no. and where? Any and all help much appreciated.

Double check this as I am not sure but I believe early C6's (2005, maybe 06 and 07) came with the underhood lamp before they got rid of it. A stock replacement hood liner without the painted logo for one of these years that originally came with a light should fit your 08 with the added light.

Check with another dealer. Look for GM part number 15251341. This is the 2005/06 part number for the underhood insulator when the vehicles came with the underhood light, it has the opening for the light and is unpainted.
You should be able to get it for around $85.00 to $105.00 before shipping.
