Key Fob Interference Problem
Wondering if anyone has had this problem before, pulled up to a gas pump that is reset/controlled remotely from the attendants booth, pumped my gas, got in the car to start it and car would not start. Some dash lights were blinking erratically and it was like something was interfering with the car recognizing the key fob. I had to plug the key fob into the glove box charger and the car started. This only happens at one gas station I have gone to, replaced the batteries in my key fobs and this has still happened at the same gas station several more times, usually when at a pump closest to the attendants booth. And no I am not

Some things can interfere with the car's electronics. Usually is something like a cell phone charger in my case. I do remember having some issues at a Mobil station for the little transceiver device on a key-chain to buy gas there. The pumps themselves were the cause, due to this transceiver.

My '05 was very touchy about outside RF, some gas stations, some bank drive thrus and even sometimes when I was near a cell phone tower.
My '08 hasn't skipped once in 4 years.

You're not the first to post about interference at a gas station.
There was also a post about a member parking near the front door of a shop and the shop's RF point-of-sale system interfered with his fob.
Some garage door openers can also affect the car.
As long as you know how to deal with it (glove box slot), you're OK.
