Quick hood question

Default Quick hood question

So i am curious but will the RPO code B92 - HOOD CARBON FIBER option from gm fit on the standard base c6 model or not due to bumper

As noted, it will fit fine. Any hood from any C6 will fit on any other C6.

Ummmmmm . . . I believe the under-hood supercharger and it's surround will not allow the ZR1 to accept any other C6 hood - so not all the same

He's talking about fitting it to a 'STANDARD BASE C6 MODEL' . Not the other way around.

They will all 'fit' the car, they may not clear a motor with a supercharger though.

Unless you break out the saw.

You are correct. The height of the standard C6 hood will not clear the intercooler for the ZR1 supercharger, that's why they had to add the window.

I just wasn't thinking in those terms as the OP had asked about the base but you're right, I had overlooked the height on the ZR1.
