Thanks to this forum I figured out my C6 has the 3LT and Z51!
I put the pedal to the floor yesterday while doing 25mph and this car can boogie, kinda scared me a bit
I do not know what mods (other than exhaust)where done to my car before I bought it and was wondering what things I should look for? What are some of the Most common mods that I would be able to see?
Look under the hood and you'll be able to tell if the air intake was changed. Also whether or not the exhaust manifolds are stock, or were replaced with headers, when then exhaust was swapped...
Congrats & enjoy the car - I have the same car except mine a vert with 6-sp manual. Your car doesn't necessarily have to have any mods to "boogie", though it doesn't take long to get used to the power and start wanting more....cold air intake, tune, and headers seem to be the common mods
I found my C6 after a long search and I was not even going to consideor an 07 but this one had only 18,000 miles on it and had the options I wanted.
I have the Borla exhaust and I finally looked last night and found out it had the 3LT and Z51 package, an added bonus since the dealer made no mention of this.
The intake looks stock and I don't see any after market headers. I was told to do the cold air intake and ignition wires, $525 installed, seem fair?
I plan on taking some pics tomorrow and will post them.

Congrats on your new C6!
Yep, it's fast -- maybe more than you think. During your full-throttle burst, it's likely that one or more of the electronic nannies interferred with the power delivery.
The C6 has traction control, active handling & torque management that can reduce power & apply the brakes, to protect you and the car.
But be very careful, especially if your Z51 C6 still has the OEM "summer" supercar tires (great on clean & dry & warm roads, terrible in the cold & wet).
My point is, before you spend $$$ on engine mods, learn to use the power you've already got. You might find that your engine is great as is... my stock 09 has more power than I've ever needed (admittedly, I'm getting old ).
Anyway, my crystal ball says you'll be looking for a good set of shocks real soon.

Thanks!
how did you tell it was a z51? is it one of the codes on the glove box tag? i see 3lt on there so i figured out mine had that...
Cold air intake and ignition wires will probably buy you one or two horsepower for your $525.00. Just make sure the cold air intake can't scoop up heavy road splash and hydrolock (destroy) your engine; it has happened to more than one Vette owner. Your car looks great!
