Default Tpms???

Before I sell the sensors in my stock 09 wheels, I need to know if the sensors in the 06 wheels that I just bought will work with my 09 base Vette?

Sensors between 2006 and 2009 are compatible...so yes, they should work fine. Both years use the same TPMS sensors...GM part number 25758220.

Just don't try 2010+ sensors with your 2009...that definitely won't work. Don't ask how I know.

The only thing you may want to think about is the age of the sensors in the '06 wheels. If they are original to the car, they could be 6+ years old by now...which is nearing the end of their useful life. Just something to consider.

If you need new sensors for your '09, these Orange Electronic sensors on Amazon.com work great and are less than half what OEM sensors cost.

Good point! I think I will keep the sensors from my 09 wheels.
