I have shopped numerous companies in the last six months. Currently, I am paying $416 for six months on the Corvette. Got a speeding ticket in May 2009 that comes off this year. I believe in Illinois it will lower my rate 3-5%. You gotta love Illinois, the most corrupt state in America!

Varies greatly on Location and if you have multiple vehicles, a dedicated work vehicle, miles driven per year, coverage limits, etc.

It's different for everyone. It's best just to take a day and call around. I never give my SS# over the phone.I don't see how my credit affects my driving. They do anything to get you!

Good credit is associated with being a responsible person which is associated with less risk.

NJ has some of the highest insurance rates in the country. So you don't want to know what I pay.

That is total BS. So let's say a person who had perfect credit and a perfect driving record for 30 years but after the housing maker bust that person lost his/her job and couldn't afford to make payments. Finally they lose their house to foreclosure and then their credit rating goes in the tank.

So that person isn't responsible? And now they should pay a higher insurance rate?

Credit score is just another way to increase rates even on good drivers.

I am 27 and it's on the policy with my truck, I pay like 900 for both and they're an even split almost. That's full coverage with higher coverages due to work. They all can't be like my ol 93 TA and cost me $200 a year

26 in AZ...my Z06 runs $100 a month, which was less than the 2010 Camode (I mean Camaro). USAA is a little pricey, but well worth their customer service in my opinion.
