I’ve been lurking around here for a few months now and realize that there are some very knowledgeable (and opinionated) folks on this forum. I’ve digested some very useful information.
That being said, I have fond memories of my good friend in high school that had a maroon ’62 Corvette that we had a blast in. Cruising up and down Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu whistling at surfer chicks was our passion I was always envious as I couldn’t afford to own one due to a really, really bad driving record. No insurance company at the time would even talk to me about Corvette ownership so I relented to a ’56 Nomad
Looking forward 49 years and many, may cars later, I called Tim Boone at Boardwalk Chevrolet this afternoon and ordered a new Velocity Yellow 3LT Coupe (someone said that was the fastest) with all the bells and whistles. It’s time to relive some of those memories Happy birthday to me…
That's Awesome I just ordered mine last week. This is my 3rd vette at age 34 but there's just something special about this one. Maybe cause its brand new and exactly the way I wanted it.
