Live in North Carolina and we don't have the yellow pollen yet but it is only a few weeks away. I keep my car highly detailed. The thing with the pollen is that while easy enough to wash off large surface areas it seems to get in all the nooks and crannies like door jams, etc. and is a pain to remove. I just keep the Corvette garaged and covered for a few weeks. Good Luck.

Yep - One of those evils in the South. Don't see anyway around it - Pray for a weekly rain which help and that the season is only a couple of weeks. Last year was a bad pollen year with the drought. Be glad you do not have to work as a forester as I did for 37 years. You come home looking like a yellow jacket, eating and breathing the mess. so much for gripping.

As soon as the pollen stops then you deal with the love bugs.

We live in the forest here in so. cal at 7000 feet. We usually get the pine pollen in late may or june depending on how the weather is. Yes its bad for the cars but its worse if you happen to be allergic to it like the wife is.

It's so bad in GA. that I need a shovel to get it up. Never was this bad in Charlotte N.C.

I lived in Columbia, SC in the mid/late sixty's and don't remember it being like this. I had a black Nova SS then and you'd think it would have left an image in my mind. I now live in the Charlotte area and it's miserable every year. Like another member said, a fail amount of rain (and wind) during this time helps. We're not seeing it here yet but it's only a few weeks away.

Spent the week in MS and my rental car was like a yellow powdered doughnut.

My now ex's house had a pine tree when I first moved in. With 3 months it got the chainsaw.

I don't visit my folks in San Antonio this time of year because of the Mountain Cedar pollen in the Hill Country north of town. Makes me deathly ill.

It is killing me. You wash the car and the first time you take it out the yellow crap starts building up. The oak trees are everywhere!
