I put one in an 08 Cobalt for my wife, it was a piece of cake. It took longer to get to the onstar module then to connect the wiring. You basically just unplug the onstar module and connect the costar module. There are some models that need a jumper wire put in (the Cobalt was one) but it was no big deal. The sound quality is good, and it is very easy to operate.
