ATTN Pilots
Hey guys,
I'm just wondering if any of you who fly for a living know of any part time or full time jobs available for a low time pilot. I have a bachelors degree in aeronautics and flight time of ~650/100. I live in the Houston area but I'm willing to relocate if necessary. I know this isn't a very common way of finding work and I apologize for posting this in the forum but its my last resort really. Thank you in advance for your reply.

Been there done that
My recommendation is to get your CFI and CFII and MEI ratings and find a Beechcraft dealer looking for an instructor. That way you "pay your dues" and get to fly higher performance A/C while doing it. I flew for Central Flying Service in Little Rick, Ar and got a BUNCH of Bonanza and Baron time while teaching.
BTW, I jsut hate the "pay your dues" phrase.
One thing I did find was that as you build your time towards your ATP you will gaine way more experience that you thought you needed - but you will need it.
Only other hope is to find a small airline that needs a warm body in the right seat and does not require an ATP.

I appreciate the reply and advice George. I do have my CFI/II/MEI but all of the flight schools here in Houston just aren't hiring. I guess something will come my way eventually but its difficult to not get discouraged.
