ZR1 Conversion Done - Lots of pics
Well, I finally got my ZR1 conversion done.
I did it with ZR1 fenders made by SLP. While the fit is not perfect, it turned out pretty good. I am happy with the final out come considering the REAL ZR1 fenders would have set me back another $2000.
The wheels are Vossen VVS087 matte brushed silver. 19x10 front and 20x12.5 rear. Tires are Michelin PS2 run flats 285/30/19 front, 335/25/20 rear.
I also installed the SS Vettes ZR1 Extreme spoiler. (A ZR1 spoiler on steroids)
I also have a Carbon Fiber rear diffuser I hope to install in a week or so.
What do you think, forum friends?
And yes, I do plan to lower it.

Looks awesome besides the large wheel gap, You need way bigger sidewalls or a serious drop. Looks like you're ready to go off roadin man. Otherwise it really looks awesome though, like that hood a lot.

The hood is from former forum vender SIC Motorsports. It's called a Violator hood. Other venders may sell this same hood though.

Yes, I know it looks high. I just recently changed out the wheels and it probably hasn't settled all the way back down.
I haven't driven it because I am still working on the interior.
I DO PLAN ON LOWERING IT SOON!

Awesome Randy... turned out great, I agree the sideskirts would look awesome from RPI in Carbon Fiber along with the splitter....
Love the hood... I wonder why..

Thanks all!
While I agree that the side skirts and front ZR1 splitter would look great, I want to lower it as much as I can without creating a drive-ability problem (dragging/scraping) so I probably will not be doing that.
The SIC bumper that I had previously already scraped some, if I wasn't careful, just going in and out of my driveway.
I'll drive it a while after I lower it before I make that decision.
