I found a 2009 Chevrolet Corvette base with Competition Sport Special Edition

What is the different between the base model and competition sport special edition? What exactly is the extra? it looks the same as other 2009 base.

They're base 1LT cars but have the special exterior and interior graphics, comp gray wheels and HUD. The HUD was not available on any 1LT or 2LT back then so that was really the special item. Here's one of the original threads with a little info:
