this will be the 3rd time within a year that the low beam HIDs will just stop working while going down the road. if the car is turned off and sits long enough for the BCM to "reset" they come back on, but only for a while then go off again. the dealer (which is a joke, but unfortunately my only option) always says it's the BCM and wants to replace it. it's been replaced twice already (once for this, once for something else) but the lights are still problematic. I'm getting fed up with this.
has anyone else had this problem? can the HIDs be changed out for regular headlights like the high beams?

After driving with HID low beams how can one go back to halogen.
I can see alot more better with the HID's. Have to find out what the problem could be. There are vendors on here that sell HID low beam lights with ballast, HID high beams, and HID fog lights and HID reverse lights so if you have rear tinted windows this should brighten things up.
Alot of Corvette people are switching to HID fog system over factory halogen fogs.
