Default What little quirks bother you about your Vette?

We all have small little things about our cars that only we know about and that only bother us. For me, there is a hard to see scratch on my paint by the right rear fender. In addition, the exhaust tips on my car are crooked and need adjusting. No one would notice these things but me. They dont keep me awake at night and Ill fix them eventually but I do notice them every time I walk around the car. Anyone else?

I consider it all part of the "patina" future collectors will pay extra for so it doesn't bother me much!

That it's not a ZR1.

The interior! It's just too busy and poorly designed. There are three different types of simulated metal finishes. Chrome bezels around the wheel controls and radio *****, brushed metal around the door buttons and painted silver on the shifter/e-brake. What the hell were the designers smoking when they put that interior together? Not to mention there are no contrasting CF pieces to coordinate with the center bezel.

...........just too gaudy and unorganized.......but liveable though!

Only thing I don't like is it's not a Centennial Z06 with the Z07 Package.

My ONLY issue is not having enough time to enjoy the GS more.

1. Steering wheel vibration above 70 mph.
2. Passenger seat and cargo area too small to carry really big gals home from the bar.

Hoping both get addressed with the C7.

I think they are trying to attract younger buyers with the C7. Not sure this fits in the plan.
Funny, though.

At least the talcum powder can is small enough not to take up much space.

What I would like to be able to do is put the ignition in ACC mode and roll the windows up and down with the key fob.

What bugs me the most is that it is still sitting at 3300 build stage.

1) That its not a Z06.
2) That the Z06 doesnt come with a removable roof.

Really pisses me off I cant have exactly what I want.. its either or. So I chose the cheapest option.

Creaking hatch if I don't keep it lubricated. The seats until I got my Daytona's. The cheap leather and lack of real carbon center or at least real looking. My Z06 had a nice looking fake carbon center that was OEM why not the ZR. I do believe the price of the Z06 and ZR1 has room to include these pieces when amortizing the costs over the term of manufacturing.

we all knew what our cars looked like in and out before we bought them and some of us actually sat in them before we purchased(off the floor or lot). so we knew what we were getting cosmetically wise. nobody put a gun to your head to make you buy it. i look at all the good things and they usually outweigh the bad. i don't complain about things i had no control of. but then again i did have control; i didn't have to buy it.

That's a safety mechanism. Don't want you getting crushed later. You might sue GM.

Can't stop spending money modding the thing.
