Default 07' or 08' Vette?

I am down to two options and wanted to get the consensus from all of you. The first is a 2008 LS3 with 10,000 miles black/black automatic. They would take 32K. Extra options include heated seats and HUD. So it does not have Navigation. It is in excellent condition. The next is a 2007 silver/black automatic 3LT with 29,000 miles. They would take 29K. It has every option available and is also in excellent condition.

So base off of the numbers I gave you, which of the two options is the better deal?

Default Having owned both

a 2007 vert and now, a 2008 vert, I would recommend the 2008.
Better steering and the LS3 motor.

Definitely go with the 2008 - you wont miss the navigation system.

the 08 has a lot of upgrades over the 07 - the engine, trans tuning, and steering rack are all different.

Only downside to 2008 is that's when they all started coming with onstar

Now that the year is settled, what would be a good price for the 2008?

Don't discredit the LS2 in the '07; it's a good engine too and only lacks 30 H.P. over the LS3 which may not be important to you at all. Considering that, you might be able to get the '07 down more in price which could make it that much more attractive.

08 No question. 19,000 less miles than the 07 and has the LS3 for $3000 more, thats a no brainer.

'08 for sure. If it has HUD and heated seats it is a 3LT care so you ccould always add the factory NAV (would be plug and play), or better yet, add a Kenwood or Pioneer NAV/Audio head unit. With the aftermarket NAV, you'll get bluetooth for your cell phone, iPOD conccectivity, satellite radio, back-up camera (if you want to add it) and Garmin nav (Kenwood).

08 - no question. 32 is not a bad price for that actually. If you could get it lower that would be "great".
Remember to do the background checks on the car for accidents and repairs.

FYI, I paid 31.5 for my '08 last October. A6 with every option except duel tops and Z51 with 11K on the clock (14K now). Orginal everything. It's a buyers market.
