OK. So I ordered as 2012 Cyber Grey GS and it should get here in about 2 weeks! I ordered some Lloyd's mats, and a M2W kit already. Want to do the CAGS, but cannot find a link to buy one! Anyone have a link? Also, is it a plug it in and leave it type of thing, or just a computer code that blocks it if that makes any sense! Thanks!

It plugs in at the transmission. I actually bought one for mine but after driving it for awhile I dont think I need to install it. The cags only kick in at a certain rpm and when you go over it the light goes out and you can shift to any gear you want. See if you need it before you buy one. JMO
I bought one from an eBay vendor. On our Corvette's we can use the unit that replaces a fuse in the fuse box under the hood. Much simpler than installing the unit on the transmission under the car. You can actually make your own from a fuse as detailed in some prior postin
Some that have used the blown fuse method of disabling the CAGS report throwing a code after some use. The CAGS defeat that plugs into the wiring harness(not the transmission) at the transmission uses a resistor, and also comes with a cover that keeps dirt getting into the transmission's electrical fitting once the harness is unplugged.
I have had the resistor type CAGS defeat in my Z06 for almost 4 years with zero problems. For $20, it's a no brainier, as it allows you to shift your transmission into the gear you wish to drive in without the computer interfering with that process.
