I appreciate everyone's feedback on my last adventure. Unfortunately they sold the car at full price $34,900. Since must of you guys have been in the trenches as far as corvette shopping goes, I thought I would throw this other one out to get feedback. It is 2008 2LT with 3000 miles on it and they want 35K for it. It is an automatic that is black and the interior is cashmere which I am not sure about. So give me the negatives on having cashmere(resale value, etc.) The two tone cashmere is black and tan. Does the price seem right? Too high or low?
I am also looking at a 2008 Z51 with 10600 miles. The seller wants 35k for it. I am leaning towards this one but think the price may be a little high. What would be a good price for this one?

The two-tone ebony and cashmere is one of the nicest interior available in a C6, and is the only one that comes with cashmere carpeting which visually enlarges the interior. A black exterior is really beautiful if your willing to clean it continuously and with great care, but sucks in pollen season. The 2LT is the most practicle interior option, and includes highly adjustible driver and passangers power seats, side airbags, which could save the driver or passanger's life, and enables specifying (at extra cost) the two-tone interior with perforated leather seat inserts, but doesn't include useless and troublesome options. The automatic torque converter transmission decreases any sports car's value, and the Z51 suspension option reallu doesn't enhance everyday driving on everyday roads, but is intended primarily for those wishing to autocross on smooth, flat, dry pavements in warm weather. Good luck finding the car of your dreams.

Now Jack, auto trans is ok. don't scare the op. Actually, as you know the auto trans is more money. As far as options go, no they are not useless or troublesome. It's a matter of taste and needs.
