WOW Steve - that is a beautiful car. I love the interior. Can't wait to see it at the Bash and meet you Thursday night. Lots of forum people going.
Congrats on the new ride - it's awesome!

Straw boss - yes, it does have a bigger gap at the bottom of the headlights than it should, I will ask about that at the bash
Grand Sport man - Naw, I have no plans to 1/4 mile it. After racing dragsters for 10 years, it would be like going out for groceries in comparison. I could eat a sack lunch waiting for the finish line to appear. Drag racing kind of ruined me for anything ever feeling fast again.
Lisa - I saw your awesome ride last year at the bash after Steve worked his magic on it. I've already talked to him about maybe doing something on my FRCs.
Thomas - it's a manual trans
Regarding the hood, I've never been a huge fan of them either. I really like the carbon bulge with the louvers and I like how the rear is open so it vents hot air and you can see the blower but I don't like how it just sits on top the hood. The C16 hood like mine is a much more finished product with cleaner lines although I wish the back of it was open like the carbon bulge is. It is what it is and is part of the package.
Thanks to everyone else and to you other Callaway owners for the well wishes. Look forward to meeting more of you at the bash.

Drifting
I want one. lol
Beautiful.
I don't mind the hood. The blower needs the space and getting rid of the heat is a good thing. The bigger the bulge for the blower, the less I like a hood.

So I was thinking that someone like you may give the other Callaway owners something to shoot for and/or set the standard to beat like I have in the C6 Grand Sport stock & bolt-on 1/4 mile section at the moment.
PS: May also be something for Callaway to be proud of too!
EDIT: Oh, and what have you other Callaway drivers on here done in the 1/4 mile so far? Please post up.

Look forward to meeting you guys at the bash. It never seems to pan out like u want though. At Montanas people tend to sit with those they came with or know and it always seems like u don't meet many new friends. I think if we spent some time in the parking lot checking out everyones cars it makes it easier to tie the car with the owner and know who ur talking to.
