2005 Auto Trans Leak
I own a 2005 C6 with an auto transmission. The car has about 68,000 original miles on it.
My car had been parked in the garage for a day and a half without driving. That evening, when the wife and I were pulling into the garage with her car, I saw a puddle trail of something under the front of my Corvette. It was auto trans fluid.
It appeared that the leak was coming from behind the engine, not the rear axle area, where the actual transmission is located.

Any ideas? Common occurrence for the '05's? Anyone have the same problem?
It's at the dealer now. They said a transmission seal needed to be replaced, so they are going to have to R&R the transmission to replace it.
Fortunately, I have GM's extended warranty to cover the cost, except the first $100.00.....WHEW!!!
