Default carbon engine build up C6

My 2006 C6 auto seems to be filled with Carbon. How can I remove it? Is it true I need to drive fast to get all carbon cleared and how often is this supposed to be done?

I call it "The Highway Tuneup". Just take it out and stomp it a few times. It happens when you drive like a little ol' lady. A few hard takeoffs will clear it right up.

What is a seafoam in brake booster vacuum line and how can I do it?

What does stomp it a few times mean so I shall do it? and at what speed exactly?

If you are referring to sluggishness in acceleration I think you should consider that you may have a bad tank of gas.

Little easier is to just add Chevron Techron fuel system cleaner to the gas. O'Reilly's had it on sale last week. 2 for the price of 1.

What I am referring to is car jerking at some gears.. When driving, sometimes it jerks. Is it due to having too much carbon and needs to speed to remove it? This happen sometimes only where it shifts to a gear automatically since it is an auto car and then it takes some milliseconds before it actually drives and figured it changed gears.

Could be a number of things. If it was me I would try some chevron techron concentrate 1st and see if it improves after a tank of gas.

The A6 transmission will automatically match revs on downshifts (with/without the use of the paddles)...
this may be what you are experiencing when slowing down. When accelerating, don't completely mash
the throttle, but instead roll into it quickly & firmly to avoid the "lag" in the gear selection.

Some good advises here

"Could be a number of things. If it was me I would try some chevron techron concentrate 1st and see if it improves after a tank of gas. "
Where can I get the chevron techron concentrate and how can I do it? Shall I do myself or send to dealer?

There may actually be something else wrong with your car, but good idea taking a few basic steps yourself. Stomping on it, refers to a few hard wide open throttle, high rpm runs, to really get the engine pumping. Seafoam is a rather extreme engine cleaner, with some actually sucking it raw, directly into the engine, through an under hood accessory device vacuum line. This can be a bit rough on the engine, generating lot's of exhaust smoke. Think I'd start with a fresh tank of name brand premium fuel, adding a bottle of fuel system cleaner, like the mentioned Techron. Burn through most of the tank, and see if things improve. Advance Auto Parts, has these cleaners on sale right now. Best ordering from Advance online, for pick up in your local store, as usually running discounts for buying this way.

Carbon build up on the underside of the valves reduces horsepower and economy,as do clogged injectors. I use Top Tier fuel and every oil change add a bottle of Lucas injector cleaner.A reputable shop can clean the carbon build up better than any bottle of stuff if it is that bad.

PIP 4395

Condition/Concern:
Some customers may comment on a flare or harsh 2-3 shift.

Recommendation/Instructions:
This condition may be caused by leaking 1-2-3-4 and 3-5-R clutch fluid seal rings (230). The following conditions are indications that the fluid seal rings may be leaking:

• Delayed/extended or delayed with harsh feel initial Park to Drive and/or Reverse to Drive shifts, that are more likely to occur when the transmission temperature is below approximately 40 degree C (104 degree F).

• Harsh or flaring 2-3 shifts that are more likely to occur when the transmission fluid temperature is in the approximately 0 degree C (32 degree F) to 40 degree C (104 degree F) temperature range, but can be present at any temperature.

• Harsh 2-3 shifts that are more likely to occur at less than 50% tp.

Vehicles built in the January through August, 2007 time frame are more likely to have leaking fluid seal rings

Important: When inspecting the 1-2-3-4 and 3-5-R clutch fluid seal rings (230) there probably will not be visible signs that the seal rings are damaged.

If any of the conditions above describe the flare/harsh 2-3 shift condition replace the 1-2-3-4 and 3-5-R clutch fluid seal rings (230), DO NOT replace the valve body or TCM.

a 50 hp shot of Nitous oxide will remove any and all carbon from your engine real quick.
