Default LED side vents?

Anybody seen this yet? I saw a Callaway C6 today that had led side vents today. Will post pics later.

Didn't look bad and I bet it would look better at night.

Draws lots of attention if you want that especially from law enforcement.

Have seen them before, someone on this forum posted pictures of them on their Vette. Looked pretty cool at night. Not for everyone but I thought they looked good.

Depends on how strict your LEO agency is?
Fines and correcting issues here are very expensive and time consuming.

Why law or rule would you be breaking to warrant a fine and/or a fixit ticket?

I believe it's legal because the lights are on the inside. I'm going to do the same, just haven't got around to it yet. Have other mods to catch up on. Just painted a windjammer Lemans Blue and putting the flag emblem on it.

Hi All
I have a strip of LEDs in the side vent that are tied into the blinkers
You see the reflection in the fender

Depends on the state and local laws. Here in FL you can't have any red or blue lights visable from the front or rear of the vehicle just directly from the side.

I had some blue LED lights on my old bike you could see from any angle and never got messed with and it was seen by cops all the time. It just depends on how you have it set up.

But personally I wouldn't do LEDs in the vents or anywhere... but you can easily hook up some LED strips to a switch. Ebay or an auto store should have them.

I just don't see the point

Too "rice" for me. I reminds me of the neon they used to stick under the cars in the 90's.

I installed them a couple of weeks ago and I like them, it was a very easy install. If you get them I would not run the wire under the hood rubber seal like the directions suggest. I cut the wire and ran them through the center of the rubber seal and then spliced the wire back together. I do not drive around with them on all the time but if I am out at night with the club and we have the hood up and doors open I will turn them on also because they go with my blue LED interior lights.

We offer a kit which is really popular here. We include remotes so you can turn them on/off when you want. These are great for night cruise ins or indoor shows.

No, they aren't for everyone. A lot of members here love lights and we sell quite a bit

I find such cosmetic modifications to be rather tacky.

I wouldn't say this is tacky or ricey. Don't know if I would do it either but it doesn't look that bad.

I put in an old third brake lite in each cove rather then an LED strip. They are also connected to the turn signals.

They look a lot better in real life then in this video.
