Default creaking seat

I have now a seat that has started to creak on right hand turns. The outside of seat seems to be creaking when making right turns. Nothing is lose or seems broke but making an annoying noise. Anyone else experiencing this. Hope GM gets it together for the C7 with better seats.

My seat creaks too. I can fix it temporarily by tightening the nuts that hold it down, but if you over-torque those bolts, you'll rip the studs out. The first time I checked the nuts, they were pretty loose.

I just noticed my '07's driver's seat making some new sounds the other day. I'll have to dig in there to find out what's creaking in there.

What year? I have a 2012, and the seat has squeaked since day one, unlike my 2008.

I checked the bolts and everything was good until I diagnosed the problem in my case. I am tall, so the seat is all the way back and the back side of the seat is rubbing on the plastic were the vert top folds in and out. It seems to be just a simple material on material squeek. I'm going to go to Hobby Lobby and pick up a piece of thin black felt to cover the contact point and hope that clears it up. The area of contact is not visible, so wont' look cheesy...but anything is better than the squeaking!
